Volunteers provide food, propane, and limited prescription medication assistance to anyone in need.
Food For Lane County

County-wide distribution of emergency food through a network of 150 agencies. Food boxes, no-cost meal sites, gardens, nutrition education, children’s and senior programs.
Helping Hand Room
Free baby layettes for newborns and clothing for children and adults. Bedding and kitchen items also available. Open Tuesday/Thursday, noon – 2 p.m.
Homes for Good (formerly HACSA)

Lane County WIC Program (Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food & Nutrition Program)

Nutrition and feeding information, breastfeeding support, referrals, and help purchasing healthy foods for pregnant and postpartum women and children (ages birth to 5). Eligibility based on health and income screenings.
Looking Glass Station 7 ~ Project Safe Place

Emergency shelter for runaway and homeless youth (ages 11 – 17), 24-hour crisis intervention, emergency transportation, and family reconciliation.

Emergency housing for families who are homeless: assistance finding housing and employment/income. Transitional and permanent housing for individuals experiencing homelessness, psychiatric, and/or physical disabilities.
Springfield Salvation Army
Extremely limited rental assistance with 72-hour eviction notice and furniture assistance (no appliances). Clothing vouchers for children and adults (one per 12-month period). Call for hours.
